Accessing Daily Logs
Navigate to your project through the Projects section on the left-side panel of Eano Pro. Once in your project, locate and click on the Daily Log tab to begin documenting your progress.
Adding Updates and Photos:
Find the "Write a daily log..." box at the top of the tab (in the Eano Pro mobile app it reads "What happened today?"):
Once you click that box, it will show you more details where you can type in your project updates and progress notes. Please see below:
Add photos by either:
Dragging them directly into the box
Clicking to upload from your device
Note: If you want your clients to receive this update, you may check the Share with client box:
Once you click on it, you have the option to select which milestone are you uploading those updates to:
Once you’re satisfied and/or completed the updates for the day, you may click on the Post Update button:
After clicking on Post Update button, a toast notification “Saved Successfully” will appear briefly on the screen which will confirm that you have successfully posted an update.
And you will see the posted update shown like this in Daily Log tab:
Where Your Photos Live
Photos you post in a Daily Log stay with that log. You’ll find them on the Daily Log tab, right alongside the note they came with. They aren’t copied into the project’s All Files tab, so if you go looking for them there, you won’t find them.
If you want photos kept as project files instead (site photos, drawings, a before-and-after set), upload them to All Files directly:
Open the project and click the All Files tab.
Click Upload Files in the top right.
Drag in your files or click browse files. You can pick as many as you like at once.
Under Upload to, choose where they go, then click OK.
Upload to gives you two choices:
Internal Files: visible to your team only. Your client can’t see these.
External Files - Project Resource: shared with your client.
External Files is split into tabs: Project Resource, Sub-project Photos, Construction Milestone, Permit Milestone, and 3D Rendering. Only Project Resource takes uploads from this button. The other tabs fill in from elsewhere in Eano, so there’s no way to upload straight into them.
Using the same photos on another project? There’s no way to move or copy files between projects, so upload them to the second project as well.
Pro Tip: Regular updates with photos help maintain clear communication with homeowners and create a detailed project timeline for reference.
