You can set the language Eano displays in, so you’re not working around a language barrier all day. Where you set it depends on how you use Eano: the web app and desktop app share one language setting, and the mobile app keeps its own, separate from that — so if you use both, you’ll set each once.
Why it matters
If English isn’t your first language, or you’d just rather work in your own, fighting through translated-in-your-head labels all day is friction you don’t need. This setting is yours alone — it doesn’t change what your teammates, clients, or subcontractors see. Everyone on a project can work in whatever language suits them, independently of each other.
On the web and desktop app
Eano’s web app — and the desktop app, which is the same Eano Pro running in its own window — offers English, Español, 简体中文, and Українська.
Click your name in the bottom-left corner of the left-hand menu, then choose My Account.
On the Account Information tab, scroll down to Language Preferences.
Open the dropdown and pick your language.
Click Save.
Eano reloads right away in your new language.
A brand-new account skips this step for you: on your very first login, Eano checks your browser’s language and switches to it automatically if it’s one of the four supported languages, defaulting to English otherwise. That only happens once — it won’t reach back and change an account that’s already been used, and changing your browser’s language afterward won’t change Eano’s, so use Language Preferences for that.
A couple of things worth knowing:
Save any work you’re in the middle of first. Changing your language reloads the page, and anything unsaved elsewhere gets discarded. Eano will warn you about this before you confirm the change.
This is tied to your login, not your browser or your computer. Sign in from a different computer and it’s already set.
Navigation, page titles, and most buttons switch over right away. Full translation is still in progress, though, so you’ll still spot English here and there — a handful of field labels and tooltips haven’t caught up yet. We’re working on it, and the whole system should be available in your language soon.
On the mobile app
The Eano Pro mobile app offers English, 中文, and Español — set separately from your web language, on the device itself.
Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner of any screen.
Tap Language.
Choose your language.
Like the web app, a phone you’re using for the first time picks up your system language automatically, matching it against those same three options.
FAQ
Does changing my language affect anyone else on my team? No. It’s a personal setting tied to your own login. Your teammates, clients, and subcontractors each set their own.
Can subcontractors and clients set their own language too? Yes — Language Preferences lives in the account settings every logged-in user shares, so anyone with an Eano login can set their own.
If I set my language on the web, will my mobile app match it? No. The web and desktop app share one language setting; the mobile app keeps its own, on the device. Set your language in each place you use Eano.
I switched by accident and can’t read the menu anymore — how do I switch back? Open Language Preferences again (or, on mobile, the Language row) — the dropdown or list always shows each language in its own name, so you can find your way back even if you can’t read anything else on the screen.
Why do some parts of the web app still show English after I switch? Full translation is still in progress. You’ll still spot English here and there — that’s expected, not a bug. We’re working on it, and the whole system should be available in your language soon.
