Overview
Smart Reminders help general contractors stay on top of follow-ups and deadlines by sending automatic notifications for key activities.
These reminders are designed to:
Nudge clients to review and sign quotes
Alert you and your team when tasks or milestones are overdue
Reduce manual chasing and missed follow-ups
All reminders are optional, fully configurable, and turned off by default.
Types of Smart Reminders
Eano Pro supports two categories of reminders:
Client notifications (sent to clients, controlled by the GC)
Internal notifications (sent to you and your team)
Each category is configured in a different place.
Client Quote Reminders
(Settings → Notifications)
Client reminders are notifications sent to your clients when a quote has been sent but not signed.
These reminders help prompt prospects to review a quote sooner, so you can:
Address questions faster
Resolve objections
Close the deal more efficiently
Available Client Reminder Options
You can enable one or more of the following reminder types:
24-hour reminder
Sends an email and/or SMS
Triggered 24 hours after a quote is sent
Only sent if the quote is still unsigned
48-hour reminder
Sends an email and/or SMS
Triggered 48 hours after a quote is sent
Only sent if the quote is still unsigned
Custom reminder
Choose one timing option:
3 days
7 days (default)
2 weeks
1 month
Sends an email and/or SMS after the selected duration
Only sent if the quote is still unsigned
All client reminders are off by default and must be enabled by the GC.
Internal Overdue Task Reminders
(My Account → Account Notifications)
Internal task reminders notify you and your internal team when tasks become overdue.
These reminders help ensure day-to-day work doesn’t stall when projects get busy.
Available Task Reminder Options
Choose one reminder timing:
24 hours
48 hours (default)
7 days
2 weeks
The reminder is triggered once a task passes its due date.
Internal Overdue Milestone Reminders
(My Account → Account Notifications)
Milestone reminders notify your internal team when project milestones fall behind schedule.
How Milestone Reminders Work
Based on the projected completion date
If no projected completion date is set, no reminder is sent
All team members added to the project will receive the reminder if they have the notification enabled

Choose one reminder timing:
24 hours
48 hours (default)

2 weeks
How to Enable Smart Reminders
Open Settings or My Account (depending on reminder type)
Go to Notifications
Enable the reminders you want
Choose delivery method (email and/or SMS where applicable)
Select reminder timing
Save your changes
