šŸš€ Feature Overview

The Manual Invoice feature gives you greater flexibility in managing project billing, perfect for projects that don’t require milestone-based invoicing. Whether you're billing based on weekly progress or offering custom services, this tool allows you to generate and send professional invoices at your convenience, all within Eano Pro.

This new capability lets you generate and send invoices manually, without having to tie them to preset project milestones.

āœ… Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Go to the Finance Tab

  • After a project is signed, head over to the Finance tab of your signed project’s dashboard.

  • Under Finance, scroll down then click on the Income sub-tab. (Please see sample photo)

  • This is where all income-related records for the project are managed.

šŸ“ This area serves as your control center for invoicing.

Step 2: Start a New Manual Invoice

  • Look for the + New Invoice button in the Income view and click it.

  • This opens up the Manual Invoice form. (Please see sample photo)

šŸ†• This form is completely independent of milestone structures—giving you full flexibility.

Step 3: Fill Out Invoice Details

In the form, complete the following fields:

  • Internal Memo: For your internal reference—clients don’t see this.

  • Due On: Set the invoice due date.

  • Description: Briefly explain the service or work performed.

  • Quantity and Unit Price: Enter the quantity and cost per unit. The total auto-calculates.

  • Adjustments: Add discounts or fees, if needed.

  • Client Message: Add a personalized note to your client (optional).

  • Attachments: Upload relevant files or images (e.g., receipts, progress photos).

  • + Add Line Item: Click this to invoice multiple services in a single form.

šŸ’” Providing descriptions and attachments builds transparency and trust with clients.

Step 4: Preview the Invoice as Your Client

  • Click the Preview as Client button. (Please see sample photo)

  • This lets you see exactly how the invoice will appear to your client, ensuring clarity and professionalism. (Please see sample photo)

Step 5: Save and Send to Client

  • Once everything looks good, return to the Eano Pro tab and click the blue button Save & Send to Client. (Please see sample photo)

  • This action:

    • Finalizes the invoice.

    • Sends it via email and SMS to your client with a direct payment link.

šŸ“² This prompt delivery increases your chances of getting paid faster.

Step 6: Monitor Invoice Status

  • After sending, you’ll see your invoice listed in the Income tab.

  • Statuses will update in real-time.
