๐Ÿ“ Chat Section Overview

Youโ€™ll find the chat feature on the left panel of your Eano Pro dashboard. Chats are automatically grouped into four categories:

  1. In-Progress Projects โ€“ Active project communications

  2. Completed Projects โ€“ Archived messages for reference

  3. Potential Projects โ€“ Conversations with leads or prospects

  4. Eano Support Chat โ€“ Direct line to the Eano support team

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: This structured organization makes it easy for contractors to quickly find and reference relevant conversations.

Sending Updates and Messages

Real-time messaging is essential for keeping projects on track. Contractors can quickly share progress updates, discuss design choices, and alert homeowners about upcoming work phases. When homeowners have questions or concerns, they can send messages directly through the platform, creating an organized record of all project-related communications.

Chats are also viewable directly from the project details page. Contractors and homeowners can access the chat tab to review previous discussions and stay up-to-date on the latest updates.

How to Add More Clients to the Chat Group:

๐Ÿ”’ How to Create an Internal Chat & Add Teammates

To set up internal project communication:

  1. Go to your Project Details page.

  2. Assign additional internal team members to the project.

  3. A group chat will be created automatically, limited to internal use.
    โ€‹Important:
External vendors (e.g., subcontractors) cannot be added to internal group chats for privacy and security reasons.

๐Ÿ‘€ What Your Client Will See

When homeowners log into their Eano dashboard, they can:

  • View the full conversation history

  • Send real-time messages

  • Stay up-to-date on decisions, status updates, and upcoming work

This keeps clients in the loop and reduces the need for external communication tools like email or text.
