1. Adding Vendors to Your List

Before creating Subcontracts, Work Orders, and/or Purchase Orders – start by building your vendor network:

  • Navigate to the left-side panel and click “People”

  • Select “My Team”, then go to the “Vendors” tab

  • Add vendors to build a readily available pool of subcontractors for future projects

2. Accessing Subcontracts

The Subcontracts dashboard gives you a quick overview of labor assignments:

  • At the top of the screen, view metrics for:

    • Unassigned

    • Orders in bidding

    • Completed

This snapshot helps you instantly understand staffing needs across your project.

3. Searching and Filtering Subcontracts

Eano Pro’s advanced filtering helps you quickly find the Subcontracts you need. You can search by:

  • Project address

  • Order status

  • Vendor name

  • Order ID

  • Issue name

No matter how many projects you're juggling, you'll always have clear visibility.

4. Creating a New Subcontract

Click the “Create Subcontract” button (top right) to begin.

Subcontract Details

  • Add a clear issue title

  • Enter the project address

  • Define the specific scope of work

Pricing Method

Choose how pricing will be handled:

  • Allow Offers: Vendors submit bids, and you select the winner

  • Firm on Price: You set a fixed cost; no negotiation

Additional Information

  • Include notes to clarify expectations
Upload attachments like images, floorplans, or permits

5. Selecting Vendors

Tap into your vendor network by filtering for the right fit:

  • Role type (e.g., plumber, electrician, designer)

  • Zip code

  • Vendor name or email

You can also skip vendor selection and assign them later, giving you flexibility in your process.

6. After Sending the Subcontract

Once the Subcontract is created and sent:

Vendors will receive an automated email and SMS containing a direct link.

  • The link brings them to a secure Eano page

  • They’ll see the full details of the Subcontract

  • They can then submit an offer or confirm interest

This ensures vendors are instantly alerted and can respond quickly—accelerating your project timeline.

7. Managing Subcontracts

After creation, all Subcontracts are listed with status tags:

  • Track bids and progress in real time

  • Adjust or cancel Subcontracts if your needs change

  • Stay agile while maintaining full control over subcontractor assignments

Best Practices

Effective use of the Subcontracts feature relies on clear communication and detailed documentation. When creating subcontracts, focus on providing comprehensive yet concise descriptions. Be specific about work scopes, clearly define pricing expectations, and include all relevant project information.

By following these guidelines and leveraging Eano Pro's intuitive Subcontracts feature, you can streamline your contractor hiring process and maintain better control over your project's labor management.
